Leaving behind the sunny town of Elounda and travelling along the road that points right towards the Aegean, among the colours and aromas of the island of Crete in Greece, takes you to the splendid Villa Olivia - a private residence measuring 900 m2 immersed in 4,875 m2 of greenery and facing straight out to the sea with its private beach.

Designed by Studio D73 Architects Marco Vismara & Andrea Viganò and constructed by Mirum Group, Villa Olivia extends over three floors and has a guest house and summer house in the complex, which has been fully equipped to accommodate guests without intruding on the privacy of the main villa.

The villa's interior has a Mediterranean style with a contemporary vibe. The white, beige and turtledove colours have been carefully selected, and leave space for blue brush strokes that emphasise a connection with the location and the earth, water and sky. The materials include stone, marble, wood and wrought iron, and reinforce the continuity between the landscape and the architecture.
